A moment to reflect...

I have worked hard over the past year to learn as much as I can about the craft of photography. I have read many articles, watched many videos, taken many workshops and classes and met with many other amazing photographers and business people. I love learning and I strive everyday to be the best photographer for my clients that I can be.

I want to be able to take the photos that give you joy and happiness when you see them hanging on your wall. Yes, I do love the print! I grew up with film cameras and so we always printed our photos. I love looking at my wall and seeing my boys growing up all over again as I look at each year’s photo. I get that jump of love in my belly when I look at the adorable faces from Kindergarten to High School (and now beyond).

I am at that stage where the boys are growing up and looking to leave the nest and even though I am happy and excited for them, I am also sad that I won’t be able to see them everyday. That is where those photos on my wall become even more precious to me. I can stop a moment and connect with them via their photos and fondly remember their antics at each stage of their childhood.

I am also taking one special photo of each of them and plan to print them big (20x30) so I can really enjoy and treasure this special time in all of our lives. One of the photos even won an award so I know it is a good one!

Take the time to cherish your loved ones while they are with you and document those moments along the way. You will not regret it!
